School Projects
During the spring semester of my Junior year, my group and I developed a social media marketing plan for a local Harrisonburg, Virginia business, Artistocat Café. After presenting our plan to the client, we were honored with the Client’s Pick award, the highest score on the client’s rubric, and the Best Plan – Academic Excellence award, recognizing our project as the top overall submission in the class. This experience strengthened my skills in teamwork, strategic thinking, and presenting creative marketing solutions to real-world clients.

Integrated Marketing Communication Plan
In my first semester of marketing courses, I took Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC), where my team and I were tasked with developing a comprehensive IMC plan for a local Harrisonburg client, White Oak Lavender Farm. Throughout the project, we conducted market research, identified target audiences, and created a cohesive campaign theme titled “Unwind the White Oak Lavender Way.” This experience allowed me to apply classroom concepts to a real-world business, strengthening my skills in brand strategy, creative campaign development, and collaborative problem-solving.
Community Campaign Project - Sports Public Relations
In my Sports Public Relations class, my group and I were tasked with creating a community campaign project for the Atlanta Braves. This project gave us insight into how organizations manage and respond to issues while maintaining a positive reputation. We analyzed the team’s communication strategies, developed a crisis response plan, and proposed community outreach initiatives to strengthen fan trust and engagement.
